James Ray, Jr. founded Raytrans Distribution Services in 2000. As Secretary, he was credited with numerous successes, including the establishment of the President's National Transportation Policy and the development and passage of landmark aviation and surface transportation legislation.

Echo Global Logistics Names Chief Executive Officer

Chicago, IL, January 9, 2007 Echo Global Logistics, Inc., a technology-driven transportation management outsourcing firm, today announced that Douglas R. Waggoner has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Waggoner's career in the transportation industry spans more than two decades. Most recently, he was President and CEO of USF Bestway, a $250 million subsidiary of $10 billion publicly owned transportation company YRC Worldwide, Inc. In an earlier role at USF Corporation, Mr. Waggoner served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing.
